Sourcing Models: What Every CIO Must Know

Financial analysis of the business case is the most critical step in any outsourcing decision. Unfortunately, sourcing models can easily be manipulated to reflect the bias of the person doing the calculation. CIO's should not just look at the analysis as presented, but asks questions to better understand how the models were calculated, what baselines and assumptions were used, and the bias of the person doing the modeling to ensure that an accurate representation of the different scenarios is being presented.
